Die in AP?

I have been studying about Astral Projection. So, suddenly a question popped in my mind. The question is, "If I astral project, can I die?" And also, do you have to open all your chakras for Astral Projection?

physically, sure. something could happen while you are out and about frollicking the astral plane(s). people can die in their sleep and this would be about the same concept here.

can you die in the astral? well that is highly subjective to belief i would say. say for example that you share the same belief as i do that the astral is an expansion of your imagination and the astral body the expansion of the subconscious mind. given that i am talking about the mind i mean the brain. so if the physical body dies during a subconscious expansion beyond the immediate reality then yes your astral self can die as a result because it's your mental self that you have expanded out and dies with the physical existence.

others may just simply say no because if you were to "die" in the astral then you would be returned to the body via shock from the trauma caused by the "death" of your astral self. in this case then an involuntary impulse kicks in like a safety switch that pulls you back before you could even die. so, no it wont happen.

It's not necessary to have your all chakras activated, but they help a lot...

If you die in you Astral body. One way is to be killed by an entity. If this happens you just come back to your body, and feel drained for a day or so. Your Astral body also-if you don't come back, maybe be out of energy so it'll be necessary to come back.

As a member mentioned your physical body may dies from that, it's natural. You maybe mean if you can get stuck. Well, many say it's a myth you can die by getting stuck, but it's not completely. It's possible, but 1 in 100 cases. It's extremely rare. But if you die there, your body may fall into a coma state...

I don't think there's need to worry if you die this way, it's very rare.

How about while you are astral projecting and you die? You'll still be alive or not?

You mean die physically? Of course you'll be alive. First and most important, Astral projection proves the after life, abviously. So of course you'll be alive!

Astral projection does not 'prove' there is an afterlife. AP is still a matter of belief and UPG. There are plenty of reasons people will have very different experiences of the same concepts and supposed locations.

The best explanation is above: it is not actual travel. It is an expansion of the subconscious mind. My favorite description of astral travel, path walking, etc., is that it is an extension of the perception.

Nobody actually leaves their body. You cannot die within the astral realm (as stated before, if you physically die for some reason, of course you die but that is not the question asked). You cannot be 'stuck' somewhere you are not actually present.

These, of course, are my beliefs on the subject. None of this is verifiable fact.

By the way my name has an "I" and not an "L".

I've answered on this on my first answer; I wrote both cases there because you didn't clarify the way you die.

If you die there you come back to your physical body, and you'll feel drained for a day or so.
