Beetle On Altar?
By:
I had cleaned my altar just yesterday. I have yet to even give a food or beverage offering. My house is relatively clean. I haven't ever seen a beetle in my house let alone in years.

I thought it was kind of strange because there is nothing I had done to attract any sort of insects. Though, it was tiny and cute. So since I thought it was weird...

I did what I always do, google it and read a bunch of articles on it. Apparently it's a sign of good luck, strength, and some other things.

Have you guys ever had anything like that happen before or am I just weird? I certainly hope not.

if it was on your altar, perhaps research deities associated with beetles. it could be a sign of good luck, it could be a message from a deity, or it could just be a random bug. [though when it involves a sacred space i would take it as a symbol]

What kind of beetle do you have a picture?

Khepri is associated with the scarab beetle ,

It is warming up this time of the year in the northern hemisphere. Insects often find their way indoors, especially in the evening when they try to find a light source. A briefly opened door is a wonderful opportunity for entry.

Beetles are among those which are becoming active.

Whether you see it as a sign that a beetle was on your altar is completely up to you.

Yes: It is naturally explainable. But whether it is synchronistic with your practice, that's nothing I think anyone can answer but you.

Nobnarb- Great minds think alike I had already looked at that link but thank you very much!

Nekoshima- That's a great idea. Thank you for your input. I was only looking at MY deity. But perhaps that's the problem. I just need to expand the search. Thank you!
