I get laughed at but I love Gnomes in the Garden. Do I believe the statues actually come alive at night and tend the garden? No but I do believe in the tradition of Garden Gnomes for luck and health to garden. Do garden Gnomes really attract Spirit Folk to Gardens? Maybe. Either way they are adorable and my garden is doing quite well. :)

Plus they can scare away unwanted visitors to your garden, much like a scarecrow I think.

You should research folklore of other cultures regarding gnomes. Some beliefs are quite intricate. The Fae is also known to bless gardens with their presence.
