devine, demonic weapon

I have a big question, can I have a combat cane. I wish to know if there is a way to give it demonic or divine power of some kind. Does anyone know a possible way to enhance it with such power? If so, how?

You could always charge it with your own energy, like you would anything else.

Jayce, whatever course you decide to take, it comes down to belief. A magickal tool is typically used as a symbolic representation in practice of the craft; a ritual sword, for example, will not be used to actually fight anything.

But as has been said above, you can decide to channel energy into an object. But no matter what energy you put into it, if you wish to use it for some sort of physical training, the training is what is important.

If you are wanting to imbue some sort of power into a cane to use for actual fighting (as opposed to sparring such as in martial arts training), then you have many aspects to consider about your intended course of action, from ethics to legality. But adding energy will not make you somehow able to use it effectively if you do not train in a practical manner.

I dont know why everyone says you cant do somthing with magic or it fantsy. First off i would like to say you can do so but you have to be a follower of the spirit or entity that you want to enhance you items with. This is coming from an eastern view not western one. Now secondly there are many ways of doing it because of this fact you would have to find your own way of doing so. My family prays as smith our weapons. You can also seal them like monks do or even in In the king authur pendragon lor it powers can be granted in the blade by a god or demon.

King Arthur was a myth, there is no proof that he ever existed.

The reason everyone is telling this person that it is not possible, is because it isn't.
What the original poster is looking for, is something in the realm of fantasy, not reality.

Marshall, this is why some aspects of the requests are merely a belief. As the OP never specified what sort of combat cane is sought, the answer is still in the air, so to speak.

If Jayce is seeking something for use in a ritual sense, then sure. Why not? That's a matter of belief.

But in a factual, physical sense, no enchantment will make any weapon actually more effective. Many cultures have had practices with similar beliefs, as we have seen runes on swords from the Vikings, priests who blessed weapons with holy water, and more.

But again, it is merely a belief, and not factually true.

But these questions are a bit sketchy, considering the number of (typically) young people who think they can just strap a staff or sword on their backs to use as a defensive weapon -- or worse, and offensive weapon -- and think they're not only going to do well in a fight using the thing, but that they'll be fine from a legal perspective even carrying something with the intended use as a weapon.

To add another layer on that same cake, there are also those who believe that enchanting a weapon will make them automatically wield it effectively, even without training. This is not in every case of these posts, but it does crop up on occasion.

In all of these cases, the answer is no: No spell, enchantment, or spiritual binding will enable these things.
