There are articles on herbs on this website but i agree with you all im not sure that there are any real basic herbs

Well,Kawaii,let's see if we can put you on the right path.
First of all,everything of vegetable matter that grows is a herb!
So, the basic herb? That's grass!
From the basic grass (that green stuff that the cows eat!) we get Wheat,Corn,Barley,Oats,Rye,Rice; and of course, Bamboo!
Now,the other "basic" herbs are ones that are used in their "normal" state; such as Sage,Lavender, Rosemary, and all the other "herbs".
Do herbs have "magical powers"? Yes, they do! Just about all medicines started off as herbs.
