Whether one talks about Nemesis, Nibiru, or Planet X, NASA has already ruled out the presence of any other planet in our solar system.

That being said, NASA has found evidence for the existence of planets within other solar systems in our galaxy. So far none of them have been found to be within the correct distance to their sun to support life. Most are ice giants such as our own Jupiter and Saturn.

I think people may be getting confused by what I am talking about. There has been very recently a report that there is a possibility or a logical theory that there is a Neptune sized planet with a large orbit on the outskirts of our solar systems. While this has not yet been totally confirmed, it is their most likely scenario as I have read in many articles. I was simply asking others what they think the new planet would be about. Not whether it for sure exists, just what you think about what deities may preside over it and what traits would it affect for those of us on Earth. Just looking for friendly speculation.

NASA says that there is no such planet out there and has said so clearly on their own page. So suppostion about its possible effect on magical practice is useless at that time.

Lark is correct. There is no such planet "in our solar system". There may very well be planets outside of our solar system; but it would be very doubtful that any other planet can sustain life; as we know it! To sustain life, a planet must have an atmosphere with the two gases that make water. It would need to orbit at exactly the same distance from its star. It would need to rotate and orbit at the same speed as the Earth. Without these things there could be no life. Although there could be bacteria; which is, of course, a form of life.
But with all the "probes" sent into space, with all the most sophisticated telescopes, even ones in space,no such planet has been found. But humans will keep on looking. Because humans cannot accept the idea that we are alone in the Cosmos.

Another reason for searching for such a planet is the continuation of the Human Race, by colonizing it after this planet is destroyed. (As it will be, eventually!). But that would be only for the super rich! Ordinary people would have no chance! They would become as extinct as the Dodo!

This discussion isn't about the possibility of life being on another planet; it's about the possibility of another planet in our solar system, and how it would effect astrology. No such planet has been proven to exist, but there are spuculations.

Hypothetically, if another planet in our solar system did exist, I don't think there would be a general concensus about it's significance to astrology. I think you would have to meditate and come up with that on your own; either that, or go on like you always have, not particularly paying attention to the change. It would take many years for it to get worked into astrology if it ever did.

A planet beyond Pluto known as "Planet Nine" or "Planet X" remains a hypothesis but is not entirely unlikely as it may seem. NASA has made no claims towards denying or confirming if there is a ninth planet deep within the edge of our solar system. Jim Green, director of NASA, has even came out and said that it is too early to clarify rather or not there is a ninth planet. The hypothesis was created by Konstantin Batygin and Mike Brown (Brown played a major role in downgrading Pluto to a dwarf back in 2006 and even wrote a book on how he killed Pluto) through mathematical modeling and computer simulations. NASA has made it clear that this is not a direct observation and this "ninth" planet has not been found but astronomers are still looking for this planet. Unlike Nemesis, this supposedly "ninth" planet has been hypothesized to be potentially near the Kuiper Belt due to irregular/unique orbits of five smaller objects.

Nemesis, I stress, is not a planet. The theory behind Nemesis suggests that Nemesis is the sun's "Evil Twin" whom is a red (or other color from later theories) dwarf. Nemesis was a theory that was theorized around 1984. This theory was created to potentially explain the mass extinctions that have occurred on Earth. This is because researchers have noticed that these mass extinctions have occurred in cycles. It describes that Nemesis' gravity would cause asteroids to go out of orbit and head towards Earth from the Oort Cloud. There is no evidence to prove that Nemesis is in existence but some astronomers have speculated that we can't find Nemesis because it gives off little to no light.

We need to remember that these are still hypothesis and have not been denied or confirmed.

A Source about "Planet Nine" / "Planet X" (aside from the news): http://solarsystem.nasa.gov/planets/planetx/indepth

Nemesis is simply common knowledge to me as I am interested in news relating about space and its many theories. You are free to read up about it.

To answer your questions DruidSong, I do not know.
