The Dreaded Flu

I have seen a lot of people on here talking about how they are feeling "under the weather", well there are many ways that you can help recover faster. Such as drinking some tea;

  • Echinacea tea helps boost your immune system
  • Some chamomile tea at night will help you rest so your body can help heal and earn its well deserved rest

Or maybe you are not a fan of tea? Very well, if you have eucalyptus essential oil you can annoint your forehead, wrists, and throat and instantly feel a boost of energy and a cleared mind.

Rest is also important, but don't just lay down and wither into dust, get some exercise. Sweating is an excellent way to help clear your body of its little enemies! Whether you go for a run, sit in the sauna, or some yoga, exercise is important.

I would also like to include these two drinks

Herbal Tea such as green tea - don't know if GuruWithin was talking about this certain tea.

Aloe Vera - Is very good to flush the system from anything flu or "under the weather" as GuruWithin said.

I came down with whatever was going around a few weeks ago. Lemon/ginger tea twice a day for about a week did the trick. Although I was lucky it wasn't any kind of bacterial infection. If your illness worsens even with remedies, please consult a healthcare professional.

If you're the bath type, you can try a hot bath with lavender and eucalyptus essential oils. Mixing that with two cups of epsom salts in a bathtub of hot water really does help.
