Clarification of Vampires

The topic of vampires and other mythological creatures is something that is exhausted on this website, many people claiming they do exist and wanting to become one, etc. Although I believe that pretty much everyone knows that there are no such thing as vampires, simply people wanting to carry through childhood fantasies(and even these know deep inside that there are no vampires). I hear the term "vampire" and I cringe honestly, many people naming themselves "energy vampires" which in my opinion is a ridiculous term to use for people who are claimed to be "energy leeches". The continuation of the term vampire will only cause confusion and in a way keep the "dream" alive for many people, when I hear vampire or some stating they are a vampire, I see someone who cannot face reality and is locked within childhood fantasies or better said someone with a need or want to be something that frankly does not exist. At many times, I wish they looked towards gaining common sense rather than gaining fangs.

Yes, the subject, like many others, crops up many times on this site.That is because new members are joining every day; with the same silly beliefs. This is a site where the youngster can learn what is and what isn't! So, if we tell them "read the previous posts on this subject" they will not do it, and may then leave the site, and learn nothing!

Thanks for all the comments, as some of you said, this is a very worn out subject, this was made with the purpose, or at least the hope, that this reduces the amount of new members coming in here and leaving because they want to be a vampire. Thanks for anyone who added info, I hoped this helped, even if by a small bit.

Also, I'm not saying that breaking a concrete wall isn't possible, I was just saying beliefs alone won't affect the ability to do so. Lol, noticed a lot of people talking about that.
