However impossible, the more you are rude and harsh while answering people, the less they will believe you, it is the way people are.
Begginers are stubborn, they refuse to let go of what they once believed.
Although it is possible to change the weather minutely, by adding buildings, increasing ground temperature, etc, it is very unlikely that weather magick is possible, but there will always be a small chance, that is what the world is like. With so many writing and historical records of people practicing weather magick - whether it worked or not, there will always be confusion about weather magick.
That is why so many people are on the fence about it.
I have to agree with the fact that if we don not debate a topic from every point of view we are not learning , as for the weather magic one must realize that the peoples of the past that were said to have used weather magic , were extremely well learned on more things than just magic like ,astrology ( granted not our depth now) and how the clouds moved and how nature worked to the point of being able to foretell the weather prior to its events just by observation , and not only seers would foretell that an event should happen on such day because it would give them an advantage , so it could very well have been seen in a vision but to give the illusion of true power they may have very well did a false casting and poof ,now you have magic wielder committing a weather spell to success.

What i was trying to say is that you should not out right dismiss ones opinions or ideas simply becasue of your own beliefs. i understand that topics need to be discussed but i dont see why people dont ask questions like what led you to believe this? or if this was true how would you go about it? test it?, i do value everyones opinions in the forums as they have tought be some things but people shouldnt just slam down on someone, squishing any possibilities out of their mind because you dont believe it to be true. you cant tell someone that their beliefs are right or wrong, you can debate what they think makes it right or what you think is wrong. but then again i guess some people are a little too stubborn to open their minds..
It is impossible to change something that was meant to happen, or not to happen. It is impossible to change the pattern of the stars. There are no "quick fixes" with magick, as Brysing has pointed out. He has been an experienced practitioner for some time, so he would know. You cannot cast a spell to make a rainbow appear out of thin air, or anything to appear out of thin air really. Magick has more to do with your mentality, with your energies flowing out into the world. It is a form of self healing, but I know for a fact it can affect others as well.
Nevertheless, there is a very old rain chant I use. Whenever it is cloudly, I go outside and say the Latin chant. Every time it begins to rain while I am saying the spell. But only if it is cloudy, not if the sky is cloudless.
Because you cannot make something out of nothing, you create something from something else. That's what magick is: energy manipulation. It may have been fate trying to speak to you telling you that magick is real, and to not give up on your craft. when I say the rain spell, that is what it means to me. It is a reminder, that magick is real. But do I think I created the rain? Or even made it rain? No. I think that with energy manipulation, I asked the higher beings to allow it rain. And they remind me that they can hear me. That I am not voiceless in the unseen world of nature and spirits.
