That's a weight loss aid, it helps with cravings. I've used it and several of my friends have, it works for about a moon cycle. This won't make you loose weight, as mentioned above, diet and exercise will, this is just meant as an extra push.
Make sure you find a diet and exercise routine that works for you. Write down everything you eat, drink, and do for a week, figure out the average [example, 10 hours on computer, 8 hours at work, ate 3 bags of chips and a large caesar salad with extra dressing, drank 2 bottles of pop and 3 cups of coffee] from there, figure out how many calories you need and figure out portion wise what you should eat. Diet does not mean starving or only eating kale, by diet, I mean what you regularly eat. If you decide tomorrow to eat only vegetables and run a mile, it won't last as long as if you ease yourself into it [example, 15 minute jog 3 times a week, a bag of chips once a week] try getting a step counter, or look up some phone apps to help with eating healthy and exercising.
you love what you do now [hence why you do it] so suddenly cutting something out will be hard. Allow yourself some adjustment period and room for mistakes. Good luck to you.
