But that being said I did it again last night and was viewing my dream from a third person perspective and still no luck of taking control of the dream environment but that makes twicce I've been able to succeed at realizing I was dreaming

I'm not really into this whole dream thing
But I have suffered very intense vivid dreams for years
I take sleeping pills prescribed monthly and they add to it
I have had many things happen, before I got into magick I use to play with my dreams..I took control by reminding myself in the dream that it is a dream, most time I would wake up but sometimes the dream would continue and then I would flip it into my liking
Try to set up a mental marker for your subconscious self to quickly realize it's dreaming. In a dream something is always off, look for it find it then go from there.

In my experience, when I've been an observer in my dream, I can rarely take direct control. I may have some influence -- maybe.

My most lucid dreams have been first person.

I will also have very immersive dreams, and sometimes even realize they are dreams, in which I can sense everything as if I were there either realistically or in some exaggerated fashion. Sometimes I realize it is a dream, and still even in first person, I a merely an observer along for the ride.

If I try too hard to take control in a dream, it can wake me up.

I know it's not much help. I'm not an active lucid dreamer; I have some lucid dreams, but it is not something I try to do.

My boyfriend can lucid dream of all his surroundings and everything, but it is a very rare and hard to master skill. He was born with it, but you have to take it at small steps at a time... You have to master 1st person lucid dreaming before you can truly control the surroundings. I lucid dream in 1st person as well, I have that trait, and I'm slowly trying to work on controlling my environment. Don't be discouraged. It takes time and effort. First try 1st person lucid dreaming bridge forcing yourself to the next stage okay? I hope this helped

Lucid dreams Means, you can control your dreams? Is it bad or good? Most of my dreams I can control my self if what should do, where should I go (esp. When I feel the dreams ending up to a nightmare or bad dreams) and Sometimes if i know or my concious knows that im dreaming I force my self to float or control some elements like water, earth and air. And when I wake up Some of my body parts aching, (head, back and hand). But I keep ignoring it because if i tell anyone about this im pretty sure that they will laugh at me. Please tell me is it bad or not?

Problem with visulating desired activitiesis is that the conscious brain can have trouble believing it. It is like in Matrix, Neo didnt won becouse he was stronger, he won becouse he belived.
Make it in small steps, if you want to flay, start with jumping.
But im not expert, so dont take me to serious.

It is normal, some people (most of them) dont remember their dreams, and dont realize they are dreaming.
But some people do.
