I got into hermeticism through philosophy and art. I'm still a newbie but everything about has matched the same ideas that I've had when I was younger!
It's amazing!

Yes, this is a quote that I enjoy, I find it to be quite accurate.

If thou but settest foot on this path, thou shalt see it everywhere.- Hermes Trismegistus

Where can I find a copy?
What is the underlying philosophy?
(I'm sorry, I'm probably asking the wrong questions.)

I've found hard cover copies being sold on places like Amazon, or if you're lucky enough to even find them in some really nifty yard sales or thrift shops or bookstores? I've yet to read it but I really have been urging to try out the Hermetic path after someone advised me to it. Though buying such a book is going to raise a lot of unwanted suspicion for me...

And nothing like tangible notes in a page for me, so I don't want to read it online aha!

Hermeticism has many phillosophies, I enjoy Prisca Theologia; it states that a single true theology exists, but within all religions. If you truly study religion you will notice that they are the same.

The saying " As above, so below" originates from the Hermetic philosophy. It's commonly interpereted in two seperate ways, one being that anything that happens on a level of reality, those levels above and below are affected equally. The other one being that it is an expression of the Macrocosm and Microcosm.
