I'm not sure if anyone has done a post like this, but I was wondering why YOU (yes you) took up magick. When I did it ages ago I did it to gain super powers (shapeshifting, opening portals to other dimensions etc.)but since none of that is possiable I sort of gave up.
But any way, I was just wondering why other people would want to take up magick as a direction in their life.
Hi.To be of any advice i dont think transformation spells work.Secondly, years ago i was asked the same question by someone. My answer was to understand nature and its working. Some time after it gradually increased from connecting with nature to finding a spiritual path.Your spirituality also evolve from time to time.I hope you understand its not jst some transformation spells and pprtal jumping. Its very rich and vast where we are trying to learn.Blessed be.
It was a natural progression for me, I had always been interested in stories of the Fae and of witch's outside of the "green skinned, pointy nose" variety. When I first wandered onto this site I was interested in seeing where the boardaries of magick were, when I descovered that I quickly began to build up my knowledge and practice till I am where I am today.
I always had a great interest in mythology in general. I also never was one to believe something just because i was told it was true. The first time i looked up magic I was around 11 years old, and at the time i thought the same things as any other 11 year old would. Eventually i gave up. About a year ago when I was facing some hardships i turned to magic to help fix things. Everything turned out well, and i gained a new area of study.
well it started out as seeking immortality then i found out magick didnt work like that but i wanted to see what it could do. I later found out that it was in my blood and there is at least one practitioner in every generation of my family
