Every time I listen to guided meditations (I found one that works best for me), I get all the way to the second to last stage, but my body is compelled to physically move the limbs, but I can't and I eventually break sleep paralysis. I have only once been able to move my arm from the body, and even that was hard to do. How do I avoid from moving my physical body, and actually float out?

Practice and discovering your own method. You don't so much need to be told what to do. Sure a little bit of help is nice, but in the end it's all a matter of what you discover works for you. So practice a lot but keep calm and relaxed.
