Insisting that you know them sounds more and more like a past life experience. I am buddies with several demons, and none of them act that way. If demons were playing with you it would be a far more complicated game.
Some demons are mild while others more malevolent...but possibly look into other things like Inharmony said...also note the entity trying to communicate with you should not make you feel scared or uncomfortable...the leader may seem kind enough..but he hangs around some strange creatures which strike fear..red dogs with long sharp teeth i think u said...if not demons or angels then possibly spirit beings on the astral planes..do some soul searching and meditation...the answer will come..

He uses my fake name, the one I use more than my real one and feel more strongly towards. I'll try meditation, if not then I'll go searching for more answers in my past, maybe something caused this.
I'm not sure if you mean me or any of the others, stereotypically demons are thought to be cruel and violent. If rather not state my opinion on them based on a few experiences both good and bad but I don't believe that they are always terrible, some are a bit bareable.
Ok if they tend to be towards the fake name that you use please look it up as sometimes we may not believe but the name that we use have a deep meaning and it has different affect on different entities.
Then again not everyone will be ok with my thinking. But from my point of view check what name you are using and also think why you using that name more than your real name.
It's hard to explain.. Like a blurred memory. Jade, someone important to me gave me the name Jade. I don't know what happened to them but from then on it became very special to me. No one else knew why I held that name dear.. No one knew I even used it, though they always call me Jade..
