Stones/Crystals Guide?

Can we debunk the myths and try and together figure out what different stones are good for? Anyone know anything about this? I don't know much...

All I really knows is Diamond is the birthstone for April/Aries and Emerald for Taurus/May. I own a steel diamond bracelet and an emerald ring.

I believe there is a guide on here in the article section. And a lot of online stores have the meanings of the crystals listed along with the info on each stone. Try using the search bar to find it here.

thanks... found the guide, don't have the concentration to read it all right now. i've found with online shops they all seem to contradict each other.

There are many different purposes for stones and crystals. And reading more in-depth articles would provide information. Some good basic stones to start with, Golden Tiger's Eye for grounding and protection, onyx, jet, or obsidian for absorbing negative energy but will need recharging. Clear crystal quartz for amping up energy. Stones like diamonds, Sapphires, Ruby, emerald aren't necessarily more strong. And I don't use them other then an emerald which I protected and wear everyday because it's my wedding ring. U

You may want to check out The Crystal Bible by Judy Hall. It's a nice reference book.
