Two good books to start with are "Modern Magick" by Donald Michael Kraig and " Spells and How They Work " by Janet and Stewart Farrar.

I recommend "Wicca, A Guide For The Solitary Practioner," by Scott Cunningham. Also, "Living Wicca," also by Cunningham.

Silver Ravenwolf? Seriously? That is one author to avoid in my opinion.

Gods no, not Silver Ravenwolf. She is one of the worst authors on the subject of Wicca out there. Her books are full of misinformation and her ethics are deplorable.
