Oh, dear, Atlantis! You don't really understand the Catholic Church! Catholics do not pray to Saints; they ask Saints to "intercede". And Mary was not a virgin in the sexual sense. She was born without the stain of the original sin,ie, "pure". She was The Immaculate Conception. In any case, the New Testament has had so much added to it, and so much changed, that it is hardly the "original" document. I was brought up in a strict Catholic community. I went to a Catholic school, and a Catholic College. From the age of 11 to 16, all my teachers were Jesuit Priests.
So,please don't write posts about the Catholic Church, until you know more about it!

I politely disagree with you, and I also think that I have not been arrogant in any way for anyone to ask me to stop posting about this subject.

I regard you as a good poster and an intelligent person, and I see that you do a great job in this forum, believe me I do. This is why I didn't expect such a message from you, but hey, this is your thread, I only wanted to say something and I'm in no mood to argue.

Thank you.

Oh, I don't disrespect you, Atlantis. I am merely pointing out that you do not know as much about the Catholic Church as you think you do! I don't think you were arrogant; just misinformed.

The way I see it is that we don't agree on these interpretations, not that I don't know enough about this subject (I have my "resume", too). Otherwise, you could tell exactly the same to millions of Protestant scholars who think just the same about it as I do.

Or I could do the same you did and tell you that you don't know a thing... But I don't do it, because it's just that your opinion is different than mine. I know you know, but you have a different opinion, which I didn't disrespect by telling you not to post.

No hard feelings on this, on my part, and I still think what I said about you and I still think I can learn a lot from you.

Have a nice day!
