The stonehenge

I live about 5 mineuts from the Stonehenge in a town called amsbury and I was wondering how powerful it would be as the stones are sacred and I know there were human sacrifices there as a. Body was found of a young teenager in a crouching position I was just wondering if they would be good for rituals if you could touch them which you can't anymore but still if

There is no evidence of any human sacrifice at Stonehenge. There is evidence of a burial in the centre of the henge, and some outside of the henge. All evidence found so far indicates that the henge was a place of healing. Of course, the Neo-Druids visit the henge for their "ceremonies"; but I wouldn't take much notice of that crazy lot!

Well they still haven't found the cause of death but I think it was a sacrifice as the body was young and the teath were fairly white which would be rare in those times the sacrifice would have had to be clean of cause so is it possible to draw energy from it

Wrong! It was not a body, it was a skeleton. Forensics have established that the person died of a bone disease. Other similar skeletons have been found in and around your own town! All have been found to have died from disease, or infected wounds.

Well, for a start, the henge is much older than was thought. Up to now, 63 human remains have been found in and around Stonehenge. They are still being examined. The whole of the "crouched" skeleton from (almost) the centre of the henge, has been proven to have died from bone disease.
Now, you can believe whatever you like. But archaeology has proved the truth. A large stone-age cemetery.

You do not say if you are male or female. But, for a 14 year old, living in the most ancient town in England, you really should study the history of it more!

As previously stated, modern archaeology can point out the causes of death pretty often with complete skeletons, and those of the stone hedge have been overwhelmingly, if not completely, dead from disease or infection.

It is a grave, and a powerful one at that, as graves tend to be doorways to the netherworld in many of our opinions and personal theologies.

I agree with Bryson. I was obsessed with Archeology! Literally, that's all i wanted to study. Parents shot that down of course, but whatever.

Normally you learn a basic summary of the stonehenge at grade 8(USA &Canada) but continue further....as years progress.

Firstly, it 's a sacred place. But skeletons are not flesh. It sucks you couldn't tell the ''difference'' . But , um. Basically learn the history and the basic beliefs of your area and the sacred place itself!

Brysing I do know the history of my area and all I was saying is that I think it was a sacrifice if you need proof that I know my area then just ask. Thus form started as a simple question and now I'm getting insulted and accused of not knowing my area disappointing
