One frees the mind, body, and spirit when they meditate. Meditation is about connecting the mind, body, and spirit as one with the universe. The senses react to this in many ways so everyone experience is a little different. Therefore the answer to your question is; yes, even though the experience may not be the same as yours. Some may feel a sinking into the earth feeling when they connect through meditation. Others may feel like they are floating. What you are experiencing is normal and how your senses react may change as you continue your practice of daily meditation. If during meditation the senses are ever overloaded or you feel overwhelmed then you will need to take a break from meditation for at least an hour before you proceed with more meditation.
