Muscles and both localized and general. The localized is from bruises but the general is well, just in general.

Eucalyptus essential oil in carrier oil helps greatly with sore muscles and joints. Peppermint works well, too. Both as rubs, not to drink. Hope you feel better soon.

Arnica cream is very useful for bruises. You can generally find it in health food stores and some drugstores.

I've always had excellent results with chamomile as a poultice for myself and my kids. I once dropped a metal flashlight on my foot and it immediately purpled. 20 minutes with chamomile and the next day I couldn't tell I was ever injured. Castor oil is pretty handy on older bruises.

I suggest using a comfy, lavender, and white willow bark poultice over localized muscle soreness. If you have stiffness combined with with the soreness then be sure to use the poultice while it's hot but not too hot to burn the skin.

I love comfrey! Excellent combination kts.

I like making a comfrey poultice with the decoction of the root mixed with a piece of bread mashed up. Next time I will consider adding the other two herbs. I've only used it alone.
