My husband is an alcoholic, he has liver problems but no matter how hard I try to keep him away from all of it his family keeps shoving it in his face, I've told all of them that is killing him but no one seems to care!! Is there any spells that I can do to keep him from wanting him to drink or any herbs that I can use in his drinks that he can't taste or smell that will make him not want it any more? Please help he's a good man I just don't want him to die a horrible death.

I can't help you magickally, but I can give you some advice: GET HIM HELP! Like a therapist, Alcoholics Anonymous, Rehab, something. And keep him away from his family; they're a little too enabling.

You say "his family", do you mean his adult children? Anyway, alcohol addiction is just as hard to cure as any drug addiction. But there is medication. Your husband needs professional help. Getting him to take it is the difficulty.

Can you see about getting him into rehab? My mother is an alcoholic and it has been the hardest thing to watch her not seek help. Sometimes people can be too embarrassed to seek help, and ashamed that the problem is so obvious.

Amethyst is a good stone for encouraging sobriety, and you could try binding spells, but these will be much more effective if he is ready to help himself.

get him professional help. magickally you could try a banishing to keep the family away since they are enabling him, but only he can decide if he wants help. i have an aunt who has been to rehab at least 3 times, she keeps falling off the wagon. our family has talked to her about it, and while she can go years without alcohol, something will cause her to return again and again. he needs help, but he also has to want the help, or else you'll find yourself here once again.

It's his entire family even his mom! I've gotten to the point that I hate going to see his family even at funerals they use it for an excuse to drink. His cousin just got out of rehab for like the 15th time n when I asked if she was gonna at least try to stay clean she told me no then she turns around and hands my husband a bottle of vodka. I'm just to the point after 18yrs of marriage to call it quits. I love him very much but I'm not willing to sit by and watch him kill himself. Thanks to everyone for your suggestions n I'll be sure to try them first.

Tell your husband of your fear of watching him die. Give him the talk that my mom gave my dad, Me or the bottle. Tell him you will help in any way you can. Alanon (spelling not right) is a help group to help those who are dealing with alcoholics. That would be you, and you might get better suggestions from them. Meanwhile, and I know this is hard, realize that you can't help anyone who won't help themselves. Give him reason to want that help. Love is powerful. I hope it is his for you that will help him get the help he needs.

Try health spells and some moon water. Talk to a doctor or a professional for advice and help. Tell your husband how you feel, try getting rid of the source (family) and try communicating to his family. try replacing alcohol with gum, mints, lasagnes, herbal tea, mint leaves.
