(Many devout) christians would say that you cannot mix other religions with Christianity. The reason for this is to do their best to keep from sinning. The original-most meaning of the word sin comes from an archers term which means 'to miss the mark' that means that, to a Christian, anything that districts from that faith too greatly is sinful.
In spell casting you are fulfilling your own personal desire and hoping for immediate results. While the Christian stand point is to resist ones' passions and the true enterprise is the soul being with God the father in Heaven in the end of all times and for eternity.
In the readings it says that each man will be judged according to his or her deeds toward other people. And those whom have served others and lived as selflessly as they could are the ones to be received into the eternal kingdom. Again, that's the Christian stand point. I grew up under Orthodox church and teachings so that's something I have learned a lot about.

I do my best not to become distracted from my faith while I also do spells, not always easy, and my magic is quite weak, not as weak as it used to be bit still very weak. It becomes difficult because at times. It's not an easy path I'll tell you that.

A lot of the old words which translate as witchcraft found in the old testament would be more accurately translated as poisoner. The Grimoire of Honorius was written by a pope. Despite being a religion which claims to have only one truth, Christianity has a lot of variation inside of it. Depending on how you define magic, even a prayer could count as a spell (I define it this way). Also, many Christians practice ignorantly a form of channeling. They try to make themselves "Clean, empty vessels" so the Holy Spirit, the Christian equivalent of the Crone, can empower them and work through them. Even outside of the Catholicism and similar denominations who rampantly call of their honoured dead, Christianity has a good deal of magic or witchcraft (I don't see a difference) in it. I am not a Christian, but I used to be. I didn't leave because of my magical practices, I left for personal reasons. Magic is not a religion, it is a craft to be worked by any who know it of any faith, or even those with no faith.

Many people practice both. Some aspects of the religions Apple each other, but when it comes down to it its up to you what you want to believe in and practice. You don't have to follow every aspect; Just practice what you like from both.

From my bringing up, the church is against any form of otherworldly contact. Summoning, divination those are the biggest no-nos according to the doctrine. It is said that all sorcerers etc be cast out in most iterations of the bible. The only way one is allowed to perform these acts is if God allowed it of them Himself. That's as much as I can say myself. But to answer your main question, most Christian, not nesesarily catholic, but most Christian religions prohibit it. Some of these are Roman Catholic, Anglican, Pentecostal and Evangelic an.

Christianty and Witchcraft are lot possible. There with different extremely. Christianty is now my chosen path, bit in my opinion the two from with paths I have done would be set you for failure.

Witchcraft is a Ahmed in this religion. Meaning that if together you practiced your going for hell. While I don't judge, think about it here.
