You can't make a "pact" with Satan, you can be devouted to it, but making deals with a Christian iconic symbol of evil isn't realistic, also, Satanism doesn't recognize Satan, I know a lot of Satanists who say they don't even believe in Satan. Satanism a more solitary path than anything. They are more devouted to self learning.
In classical grimoires one would make a pact with an intermediary being rather than Satan himself. Lucifuge Rofacle being the prime example which comes to mind, who is a being described in "The Grand Grimoire".
I recommend "Pacts with the Devil" by Dr Christopher Hyatt and S Jason Black. Not only is it a good balance between practical methods and historical/theory, it is an entertaining read.
