detecting an active spell

Hello and thank you for your interest in my post.
I am curious to find out if anyone knows of a way to detect if a spell is presently being used to control a persons mind or actions. I am believing that a family member is currently under a powerful suggestion or control spell. Part of this control is to keep my sister and myself out of this persons life, so getting close to them would be a small issue.
My question therefore is: Is there anyway to detect or discover if this is the indeed a case of a manipulating or suggestive spell?
Any and all help would be appreciated.

Hi. You could use divination methods like pendulums or geomancy. But better yet do some detective work yourself. Leave hidden cameras and get some proof, so you can be certain and not paranoid. Best wishes
