Yes, magic is all around you,every day. All you have to do is "see" it! Magic is as natural as breathing.

There are a lot of different ideas about what magic is and what it can do. Most of us here don't think people can fly on a broom or shoot balls of fire out your hands. We don't all agree on what useful information can be gained from divination or communicating with spirits. Catholics believe in magic, though they may deny it or call it something else. If you don't want to believe because magic can't do the things you see on TV, that's fine but let other people enjoy themselves.

No, completing a task isn't magic; or only sometimes.
There has to be a change from one thing to another.It can be a change of attitude from meditation. But magic does need change. If you shape a bit of wood, it will still be wood! But what if you mix two metals,and change them into a totally different metal? Bronze. That's magic. If you take some willow bark, and some Meadowsweet;pound them into a paste,then draw off the juice.They have changed into Salacylic acid.
Light a fire. What really is fire? It is a low explosive.It changes a solid into a gas.That's magic.

Isn't that just science

What do you think magic is? Most things we now say is "science" started off as witchcraft/magic. Of course, now it is called Scientific Research; but these Scientists are doing the same things that witches have been doing for thousands of years! They are just terrified of the word "witch"! You can blame Christianity for that fear!
