With every beginner in the craft it is best to start from the ground up, this includes learning the basics.

The basics is a list of study topics that covers the basic knowledge that you need in order to cast successfully, this list contains (but can vary per person): meditation, visualization, centering, grounding and learning what is real magick and what is fake.

It is a good idea to start with the General Information forums on this site, then you can try to Starting Out and Basics Expanded forums on the site.
