Unless he just got out of a bad relationship or breakup I think he would try to go out with you if he really did care for you. Also, if you really do care for him you would respect his wishes, instead of concluding you care too much about him to let him make his own choices therefore I will make the decision for him. Love is complicated, but if he's really not ready, he's not ready, forcing this will result in pain, something he doesn't want, and something you don't want to intentionally cause, only "accidental pain" as you say.

A love spell is forcing someone to do something against their will. Sometimes a gentle nudge is needed, but most love spells are cast for selfish reasons and only end in disaster. Talk with him and help him work through these fears. Pain is a part of life, but in shielding yourself from hurt you miss out on joy. Granted, people don't date for many reasons, he doesn't feel the same as you, he wishes to focus on his studies or career, or he isn't interested in any relationship of any kind. Cast a spell if you wish but be aware the odds are not in your favour. The spell will wear off, and when it does he will probably leave you if he doesn't have feelings in the first place. I know what he claims but he could be saying it to not hurt you, people lie, it's always an option.

If he is afraid of being hurt, then show him that he can trust you instead of toying with his heart and mind into a false affection. Would you want real love or a love that doesn't exist. I suggest you delete this thread, because if I was him and saw this, I would never trust you again.

Hope this helps.

Why use a spell when you should already have the natural means to try and win his heart? I agree with the comment above try and show him that he can trust you and be a true friend rather than toying with his heart. If you truly love him in my opinion you won't need a spell and will be able to win his heart like any normal person does with time, patience, support and trust and other underlying factors.

A lot of times people like that just need to see that your intentions are sincere, and that you will not hurt them. Show them by being there for them when they need you. Be respectful of their wishes. Show that you care, without being too pushy. If they do want to be with you, eventually it will happen. I went through something similar with my love, and now we are engaged and live together :) Just keep trying and you'll get there <3

You should never use magic to force something to happen before its time. There is a natural order to the world, and to people even if it doesnt seem like it. Using magic to mess with that order and that balance is dangerous, and more, its wrong. Give him time, what will be will be.

In the end, it's about YOU being happy and if making him love you through magick or a magician doing work then that's perfectly fine.
