I don't believe in the devil, just keep that in mind. I wouldn't try summoning a deity, you should work with the deity and build a relationship. Set up an altar with items that represents the devil or he favours [and I'm not condoning animal sacrifice so don't do it] introduce yourself and explain why you with to meet him, give an offering [again not a living being] and wait for a response. This can take some time so repeat every day for about a month, if you get no response at any time in the month, assume it's a no. And of course don't expect the devil to appear physically before you surrounded by a ring of fire, though you may have a vision or dream with the imagery, he won't physically appear.
Regarding demons those can be summoned but I've never been interested enough to look up how. I suggest you research the demon in question so you know what you're dealing with and how to protect yourself should things turn sour. Like with the devil, don't expect a physical manifestation. You should feel a heavy 'dark' presence and many say there will be a foul odour in the air.
If you're new I recommend you study for years before trying to summon anything as is a serious matter, but if you really want to know. First, Find the devil or demon you want to summon read about them find enough info. Second, think of the questions you want to ask this entity or in what would it benefit you to summon it. third, find the entity signature(symbol, mark). Fourth,make a circle with salt around you bless it with god names and angels like Michael of course tell them to protect you from all harm. Fifth,Make the signature on the ground it must be big enough you can either mark a circle around it to have full control of who you summon (makes some of them mad) or you can leave it how it is as your circle protects you. Sixth, When you're ready get inside the circle and begin the conjuration seventh when it appears you may ask him to manifest physically in human form remember to always be polite also remember to never leave the circle. Eight when you are done say thanks and tell it to leave they usually do but if they don't say *by the name of Jesus Christ I command you to leave this place and never come back* Ninth, if its safe to come out of the circle start cleaning up erase the symbol clean with holy water preferably or throw salt on top of it once you clean it with water. Again learn magic the way everyone does till you know how to do it in this degree its for your own safety now if you don't care well.. me either lol enjoy!

Just as a side note to Lorenzos post, if you don't follow Christianity, don't call on the protection of angels and Jesus. If you don't believe it doesn't really help, but you should call on something to protect you [deity, elements when casting the circle, spirit/spirit] when trying to speak with the devil, a circle and protection symbol is wise, but especially when you're summoning something you might consider asking some divine being for some backup. Be sure you work with this deity, randomly asking Zeus for protection when you don't know the first thing about Greek mythology.
The devil (what exactly this extremely powerful, evil force is humans can't neither realize nor know) only pays visit if your deemed worthy. And then you need no spell at all, just simply shout for it. It knows anyway where you are, what you feel and think. I just does not show up personally just to have a "chit-chat" with some teenager. Why should it?! And anyway, just do not do it. Almost all of us are weak worms compared. It is not the right / good thing for us. Stay modest and happy with the life that you have.
Need way more info. WHY do you want to summon the devil or any demons? What's going on in your life? What do you need to accomplish? If you are new to magic, you really don't wanna do this. Please give more info as to what's going on. There may be a really winning way to accomplish whatever it is that you need without "summoning" anyone.
Remember this: if people have hurt you, or deceived you...imagine what a demon could do to you! Especially if you are inexperienced with magic.
