i live with my parents, and i dont want them to know im studing magick, any ideas how to disguise my tools so they over look them?
not magickally lol, like i made my pendulum look like a necklace by physically making it too look like that, and my BoS if you read it looks like a diary (ill beit a very weird one) because i wrote it like that :) not like with magick

im sure there are "dont notice me" spells, but i rather not use magick for everything

thanks guys! blessed be!

Maybe you could find a hiding spot somewhere in the house or your room, somewhere they wouldn't think to look.

In my opinion, the best way to hide your practice is to keep it in plain sight. Back in the day, a witch couldn't afford to have fancy tools or items. They used what they already had. Improvise. Can't go buying a jewel encrusted steel dagar? Get a kitchen knife and keep it only for the purpose you choose. Can't go buying a beautiful ceremonial robe? Set aside clothes specifically used only for magic. Do t want to go buying a blatantly obvious pentagram? Vlcarvevone yourself into a flat piece if clay, and on the other dude put something decorative. Doing all these things will give your tools more of your own vital spirit force, making them closer to you. All these things are also easier to hide than a "proper" cauldron, a big shiny wand, or a big fancy book of shadows. To hide them, you don't hide them. Except the knife. Hide the knife. Dear Gods above hide the knife!

Well I live with my parents and I am 15 and so you just have to hide or bury them in the ground and make a little map.
My mom caught me on this website and I said it was my brother going on random websites so she wont know that I can do magic... She might think its not real:) but when she caught me again on this website I just closed all of the tabs out and she didn't know!!! :)

I feel like hiding it is an immature idea. Been there, done that. You should leave it all out in the open and discuss it openly and honestly, no matter how tough it may be for you. I hid for years and my folks finding out I lied has left a bad mark on the family relationship.

And if you have a box where you keep your stuff even if it is small you can put your smallist things in that box.

I'm in your position, actually. I have a shoebox under my bed, in a box with old things from elementary school that my mother would never think to look in that I put candles, wands, and other obvious things in. My pendulum is, like yours, a necklace I purchased, and I do have two decks of tarot cards, which I bought from a bookstore on my own time that I keep in a sock drawer. If you have crystals or herbs, try getting a few shallow dishes, and setting up the crystals in some display on a bookshelf somewhere. As for herbs, I bought a loose leaf tea strainer, some nice class jars, and I make my own tea with the same herbs I use for magick. I wouldn't recommend burying anything though, unless you have great mapping skills, and if you live in a warm state. Hope this helped some!

Altar cloth: shawl or blanket in the back of your closet
Altar: an old box or altoids tin
Element of air: feather or bird necklace
Element of fire: match, birthday candle, coal, drawing
Element of Earth: Rock from your yard
Element of water: glass of water or a sea shell

Wand: stick you use to "play Harry Potter"
Crystal: really these are cool even if you don't study magic, so there's no need to hide these

Cauldron: pot from cabinet or a bowl
Athame: kitchen knife

Good luck!
