Thanks for the advice on the first post, but I don't have a credit card or any money to buy the stuff online. I would have to ask her.

You can find and make the tools you need. But knowledge comes first. In forums, General Info section, read Starting Out and Basics Expanded. This will give you some info needed on magick.

First off, all the tools you want, or, need can for the most part, be found outside in, nature. Buying a kit in the SoM website isn't needed. While it can be valuable, it's also common to bring traffic for to the, site.

I would, highly suggest keeping your identity as a, witch, a secret. Unless you feel confident enough.

Moving on, learn all you can about magic. The more you know, the easier it will be to explain what witchcraft is all about, to your parents of course.

I would suggest the following site, and youtubers.

YouTube:
*TipToeChick
*SpellsOfMagic Channel
*Akasha Wolfe/wolf

Website:
*Witchvox

Articles on SoM:
*Awaketoolongs: Basics expanded
*What magic is, and, isn't
*Corrospondences
*What wicca is and isn't (lark) if your into the religon

**Also i suggest talking to a few people. Jump in, and have an open heart, and an open mind. Talk to the moderators. I would suggest Bryson, he's good at helping**

Other Info:
Books: *Where to park your broomstick(A teens guide to witch craft) - Lauren Manoy
*The complete idiot's guide to wiccan and witchcraft, - Denise Zimmerman, and Katherine Gleason
*Raymond Bucklands complete book of Witchcraft

For tools :
A butterknife can be an Athame
Candles can represent the elements, or stones
A stick or your two fingers can be used as a wand (even a pencil can help, it's made with wood, cheap? but hey?)
A star on a paper can be a pentagram
Rocks can be used as the gods

I hope it helped. Please message me, for, more. Blessed be.

Hey I know you are new. Listen tell them when you are ready to tell them and only them. As for the wanting to preform spells and such alot of the stuff that you need for spells you cna buy at most stores. Examples Candles, lighters, paper, pens, books, wood anything really and if that fails you might be able to look for them around your area like plants and such.

I can help. The best way, here is to show them the good sides of the craft. Tell them you do not wish to hide any part of your life from them because you love them. You must be VERY confident. Tell them, that you know they don't want to miss out on anything. And, are practicing it. There's a difference between practicing and religion.
