Alt Codes

Does the editor here not approve of alt codes (For example, this list:http://www.forlang.wsu.edu/help/keyboards.asp)? Whenever I try to put an alt code in and finish a post, it disappears.

No, it doesn't. The only codes it accepts is basic HTML like
to get bold words.

I'm pretty sure it doesn't, to be honest.

I haven't bothered using HTML for this since I always access this site through a mobile device but what I'm getting at is that all this reads is basic text manipulation. I haven't seen anyone do this but could I at least change font, weight, and stuff like that instead of just bold, italics and the lowest level stuff.
