Hot honey and lemon works well. Of course you also have the common sense things like bundle up if its cold out, get plenty of rest, take vitamins, healthy eating, so on.

Teaspoon of Honey with cinnamon, but mix it up or put the honey on top of the cinnamon so it goes down better.

I use different teas:
- Honey and lemon - to strengthen your body
- Raspberry hot tea - if you have cold shiver, temperature
- Chamomile and honey tea - it works against inflammation
- Thyme and honey tea - mainly against coughs
- Elder and honey tea - if you have cold shiver, temperature

Sometimes it depends on person, while for me elder is very effective, others feel better after raspberry tea. Also it depends what kind of flu you are dealing with, what symptoms you have.
For raspberry tea you can use natural handmade marmalade or dried herbs.

Also I forgot to mention, after drinking Elder or Raspberry tea - you have to rest in bed under the blanket for a few hours - to sweat. That's how these teas work.

Hmm, I often use chamomile based tea, with clove, cinnamon, and lemon zest. Adding a little honey can help ease throat pain if you have a sore throat, and honey has plenty of benefits as well. Hope this helped you out some!
