Why in the world you want that? I know living isn't easy, sometimes even very hard, but that's the point - you have to be strong. Look around you - look at people around you - you think they don't have problems, for them living is simple, no my friend. It is hard for everyone. And anyway living is was never meant to be about yourself - living is about others - to love them, to help them, to cheer them, to teach them.

I disagree wholeheartedly, people may have issues, but everyone is an individual who deals with things and processes situations in different ways, and sometimes people do not cope very well.

People may have it hard, but if you have never suffered from depression, not just having a bad day or feeling fed up, you cannot possibly comprehend how horrible it is to wake up each morning and force yourself to get out of bed after going asleep wishing you would never wake up. People who have problems, have problems. People with depression or anxiety have problems which are governered by one massive problem.

You are making it sound like he should be ashamed for asking, he should not be. Sure, it is not a healthy question to ask, but he is not alone in thinking it.

Living for others is easy, it is living for yourself which is the hardest part and the most necessary. Learning to love and respect yourself, know yourself, what you want, and where to go, and generally making yourself happy- love, happiness; it should all start from the individual about themselves, ignoring the self and seeking gratification from others is useless if you cannot have those feelings already inside of you.

What can I say -Hadit - I wrote what I believe, I RESPECT him. Coming here and asking in public forum "how" means - he wants to do it, but deeply inside - he is still hoping for help. Because when person is determined - he doesn't ask - he acts :(
That's the main difference, and you people next time you hear this question - think! 5 of you gave him answer "how" but not even one tried to stop him!

Speaking about me - I HAD PLENTY "FUN" in my life. It is hard, but it is possible to overcome those troubles.

Actually, I urged him to reach out for help in the very first reply, preferably from a mental health professional. Everyone else, other than Nekoshema, who commented afterwards merely wanted to be heard, and added nothing of value.

It is possible to overcome these troubles, but not just by saying Oh I will change the way I think about myself in relation to others. Professionals in this field exist for a reason- they are needed.

If it was simple enough to say "I will look to those around me" we would not need psychiatrists, psychotherapists, or clinical psychologists.

I am sorry - I overlook your post. I think we can agree on one - he is asking for help and we both are trying to help only in different ways.

And for this: "It is possible to overcome these troubles, but not just by saying Oh I will change the way I think about myself in relation to others."
But that is exactly what professionals do - only their methodic is very delicate and complicated - but basically that's the same.

That's is really hard "I will look to those around me" - but I believe that's the way out of situation.

I wish best for -Nousin. My blessings.

Not to rub salt in the wounds Lessa, while you had the best intentions, you probably should of rethought saying 'Look around you - look at people around you - you think they don't have problems, for them living is simple, no my friend.' Because to someone who suffers from depression, it sounds more shaming than inspiring. I have many friends and family who have dealt with or are still dealing with depression [I've even dealt with it] hearing something like that, usually makes people feel worse, like they're weak and selfish. I get you want the best, we all do, but you need to walk softly, someone who is sad might understand but full blown depression where they lock themselves away might see it differently.

Also, the reason I answered his question and didn't tell him to talk to someone is because Hadit advised nousin and he said he was. It's true, anyone who feels stressed, depressed, suicidal, or whatever, seek help. A journal could work, talk to your parents or friends, or call a youth help line.

That is the main problem of forums -Nekoshema, you read text, but can't hear the voice. Of course it was meant to be inspiring :)

Lol oh I know, the fact you can't hear the tone makes a huge difference. I was just wanting to point out you therefore need to watch your wording. Blessed be.
