Appropriate Offerings

I know food/drink are typical offerings, as are flowers, nuts, etc.

I recently came across an origami book (not that these are new to me, but it got me thinking) would a piece of artwork/craftwork be an appropriate offering if it was made with intention?

It depends on who you're offering it to, but items as well as actions can typically be acceptable offerings. After you check the lore, you can ask whomever is the receiver of the offering for what they'd like best.

I would think it would be perfectly appropriate.

What is most important in making any sort of offering is that the offering be something meaningful and that it is done with specific intent to honor the Gods. I know people who choose to donate blood as a form of offering to their Gods. I know others who pick up litter along the highway, plant a tree, or do some form of service as an offering.

To my mind, it is more the spirit in which the gift or service is given that is important than the actual form of the offering.

Thanks for the replies! Quite helpful and I like the idea of asking the Gods what they would like.
