I can be very difficult to explain witchraft to your parents. Mine found out accidentaly from my BoS aha.
As suggested, the best way is probally an open heart to heart. Or , if you think is better, keeping it a secret. Who knows, you may be suprised by your parents reaction!
Blessed be, and good luck. :)

If you are under 18 and living in the United States, as well as some other countries I'm sure, your parents have full control over your religious choices. I definitely think you should discuss with them about it.

I would clearly describe your beliefs, practices, and everything that you know about Wicca. People sometimes have misconceptions about other religions, so I recommend looking up what some of the common ones might be. Be ready to completely explain your choices and beliefs, and don't leave room for misunderstandings. You need to be able to explain what you know and why you're choosing Wicca, but don't be afraid to say "I don't know everything yet."

As muurta said, most places minors cannot choose their religion without their parents permission. You need to tell them, but you don't have to tell anyone else unless you want to.

Best to time it, wait for a moment when both your parents are home and relaxed, not after a stressful day. Ask them to sit down and listen to everything you have to say first. Calmly explain why you wish to become Wiccan, what Wicca is and isn't, and provide facts be it in books, printed off the internet or links for them to look into. When finished, sit and listen to them, don't cut them off or get mad [even if they are] but ask them to think about it and read the information, a week or so later, ask again, you might need to find a compromise, or wait until you are legally an adult to convert.

There are also some articles written by Christians on the religion of Wicca which are extremely helpful for explaining to my parents!

I never particularly cared much about what my parents thought of my religious choices. Picking any religion other than Judaism was something my father didn't allow, but when he died, my mother allowed me to practice Wicca. (as long as I didn't turn her first floor into Wiccan stuff) I was very open with my mother about it. Also, parents demanding you follow a religion isn't enforcable by law (though you may suffer the wrath of your parents).

Actually, if she is in the US parents have an absolute right to choose the religious upbringing of their children and it is indeed enforceable by law.
