Coven Inactivity Question
By:

Okay so this is kind of a site question, and a coven question so I didn't know were to put it. Anyways, I have noticed that some of the covens that Priestess and Priest haven't been in for a long time, haven't been placed as inactive covens. Is there a reason behind this?

There is typically a time period of when such covens get placed under the list to be taken over or until whenever Petrarca decides to put them up for grabs. Some leaders come on every other week or month while leaving the coven to certain members and the council due to work or anything else. Sometimes one leader may be gone for longer periods of time than the other leader.

Yes, I know this already, but the coven I am in right now, the Priest hasn't been on for a couple of years, and the Priestess, 3 or 4 months.

I feel like it should be updated and left for grabs. Being a priestess or priest is a huge responsibility, even on the site.

Actually, Zeus, the Priestess hasn't been on since 2013 so that's a year for her too. I thought I saw Gypsy Witchcraft on the list of inactive covens awhile back. I'm not sure. It might have something to do with how many members are in the coven (68ish right now) or how active the forums are, I really don't know. I think it's ultimately up to Pet.

Sometimes people become busy, not everyone can be on the internet every week, or even day. Our world is still poor, but it just has better technology.

First talk to Petracra, and a moderator. They may be able to do something about the issue. The thing is, when you become a priestess on the website, you earn the right. You apply for the job, and you prove your knowledge.

Becoming a priestess or priest is hard. You are the one who accepts the applications, or declines them. You choose What days you do activities online, meetings, ect.

It seems to me that you would like being a priestess, or priest. But don't ask why there is inactive leadership. I suggest join a new coven, if pet does respond.

The Mods have no control over whether or not a Priest or Priestess of a coven is replaced, nor over whether a coven in inactive or not. Only the Site Administrator has that capability.

I never said I wanted to become its priest. I know the responsibility.
