B to C are actually half steps. As are E to F. If you listen to the interval between a half step you can hear that, not to mention the piano is made that way for a reason. A major scarl has 5 whole steps and 2 half steps. That is how you play the major scales on anything. In the Major scale of C, the piano follows that trend, as does every other scale. It goes Whole, Whole, Half, Whole, Whole, Whole, Half.

(By the way, sorry to be having this argument on this thread. It's good to know how these things work though.)

I understand. But I would still like to link this particular guitar to me. I want it to hold an energy of it's own, and for the two of us to mingle. I'm thinking about attaching a live scorpion to it, below the bridge, allowing the scorpion's life force to fill the guitar. Thoughts?

On sharps and flats it depends on wether you are a sending or desending

brysing people who use those terms are trying to look smarter than others. you're right bout no Cb and B#. it even sounds wierd.

Danro, attaching a scorpion? Are you serious? You would cause the suffering of something that lives, and attach it to your guitar. Even if it were true, would you want that energy to mix with yours?
