I did a candle magick spell a while ago and it totally backfired on me. I had such bad luck to the point that my husband and I almost got divorced. I want to do a protection spell using black candle but am scared it will do the opposite. Any advice?
Go over the basics and ensure you understand how to cast. If you write a spell to undo what you did and work it as a candle magick spell, you can really use anything to burn it with. I use an oil lamp often. It's the same principle just different kinds of fire. I like out door fires as well. And the alcohol based one's.
I personally wouldn't use a black candle for protection. I would use it for banishing all the energy of the space and cleansing yourself of the spell that you had previously cast. For protection I would use white or maybe even gold or something light like that.
Definitely get rid of the old energy first through a banishing or cleansing. Then use a protection spell. Try not to think if anything negative or counter productive to the spell. You definitely wanna think positively and vividly visualize the desired outcome.
Maybe you wanna try charging the candles with energy similar to the spells purpose. For example charge green candles with energy for good luck, then while you are casting the goodluck spell, burn the candles that you had previously charged.
First off, clean your house. Cleanse it, and realize that all that energy is going away. Sweep your floor, put salt around your house.
Then get a White and black candle, and banish/protection incense. First walk around with the banishing incense (coco, ect) and with the candle. Chant to yourself that all bad will leave and only good will remain. Then grab the white candle and incense and say only good will come in.
Lastly do a protection ritual, and leave a blue candle burning.This restores peace, so whenever you see it, believe that peace will be restored!
