are the afterlife places like heaven forced upon souls that are sent there do they have any power to leave and explore existence
or is the euphoria that they experience inhibit said souls ability to think with complete clarity and want to fulfill the goal they set for there selves.
What happens after death is a thing of faith as there is no clear answer. The following is based on the belief of life after death.
For most people, when you die, you may spend a brief time, say 3 days, on earth simply to watch over your loved ones, or your spirit is in denial. If you have no regrets and your family does not need you to watch over them, then you ascend to heaven, or are reincarnated or whatever it is you believe.
Regarding "ghosts" this happens when someone died suddenly, a horrific way, denies actually being dead, refuses to let go of their previous life, or feels they need to watch over a loved one for whatever reason. There is the other rare one where a spirit does not wish to be reborn, so they choose to wander the earth.
Granted this is all speculation and theories, not proven fact. Read some articles on the subject and choose for yourself.
Many will say yes, depending on your belief system. Christians have hell, or heaven. While say Hellenism will have Elysium, and tartarus.
Like i said, it's your belief. There is no right way, nor wrong way. It's up to you to decide. There is a debate on recarnation, in paganism many believe this.
Afterlife has many categories. How? Because true are different religions, and mutually that comes with beliefs. I mean Egypt had a belief they would go to the cosmos, or say recarnate. Jews had a belief they will go to there heaven. There is so much systems, it's not are right to tell you that there ''is or isn't'' a afterlife.
