True there are many beings depicted throughout various cultures who ferry the dead or collect souls. On SoM of all places a dream shouldn't just be called a simple dream offhand, but as you were not near death nor do I believe in a angel of death, grim reaper, etc... I would have to agree this most likely was a manifesto on of your subconscious mind or to put it in common sense non gibberish speak a dream. If it has any symbolic meaning it could be a sign to remind you that your life is precious and your earthly life will end at some point.

I was not really putting windthunder down. He/she is obviously a child who had a terrifying dream of death. We all have such dreams, now and again, but children more so.
Having raised seven children, I will tell you something that you may, or may not, already know. Children LOVE being terrified! It is why they take such risks on bikes, skates, motor bikes. It is why they love roller-coasters, and scream with fear! Children put themselves in real danger because they love it; the "challenge". Only when we are adults do we know what real fear is!
A dream can be frightening; a war is REALLY terrifying!

you should mediate on the dream to find the meaning.

I'm 13 and I don't like to be scared. I know someone who was in a war. One of my uncles. I want to join the army and help people. This is pure fluff though. The grim reaper does not exist.

It's just a dream. The grim reaper does not exist. It's pure fantasy. I've had a lot of dreams for years like this. It's nothing that you need to worry about.

Ok then just meditate on it. If it symbolized death, then it could possibly mean someone close too you might die. That's happened to me before. Right before my grandma died. Why didn't you state that a little more clearly?
