Just throwing in some Traditional beliefs from my family and which I also agree with . a Quija board is very dangerous and even though your trying to contact a specific person you don't know who you might be letting into your house My mother always warned me since childhood never to use a Quija board or bring one into the house.

not saying you can't or shouldn't just sharing some beliefs and knowledge

Ouija Boards can be dangerous! I would advise anyone who wants to use a Ouija Board to please be careful. The Ouija Board is a communication device that when used, could open up a doorway of another dimension. This may sound cool, but if you accidentally open yourself to a demonic entity. Once an entity finds out that they can communicate with you, they wont want to go away, thus they might become connected to you. Please use precation and Blessed Be!

I piggyback on Shadow's answer, that is very true. Also, i would say to bless the Ouija Board before and after use. Also, sprinkle it with Kosher salt. Also, Always sit up straight & never cross your legs or slouch. This shows that your body is relaxed & bad things can happen to you, because it shows weakness. So always use good posture. This makes you appear stronger.

As usual, Nekoshema is right spot on and really covered it.

If you have other questions, there are like a ton of posts on here about experiences and guidelines if you want to delve further

My grandmother says to never use it. A former friend claimed to have chairs and boards fly across the room when using it. Another friend couldn't seem ringer rid of hers. All I know is that you shouldn't use it unless you know what you're doing. Do purifications, blessings, cleansings, and protections. Until reading this thread, I didn't know that it could possibly create a "portal" of sorts, but it makes sense. Always be careful with things like these. Also, I heard from an experienced witch that one of the ways to properly use it is to have a few people using it whole one interprets. She uses three of her coven members who are blindfolded and have meditated for the planchette. She has them meditate and get into almost a trance like state, but I think you should just be calm and clear your mind. She has a fourth person ask questions and record the answers. That's a good way to use it and on here people have mentioned similar techniques.

Thanks for answering everyone. I have come to conclude that I am not ready ready for such things. I will try this when I'm fully ready. When I feel confident enough about my workings :)
One more thing.
Can I use a pendulum instead? I heard it's safer and how does that work?

I was originally planing on going to a friends house to use the board. So if I did and lets say something happened(it could be good or bad). Will anything follow me or will it bug the friend's house? Or both? Then again since I know how to banish and protect, will I be less targeted or most targeted?

Pendulums you have to be careful with because one of the ways they work is through the involuntary twitches your subconscious sends to your muscles. So you have to do your best to make sure you're really contacting a deity or a spirit or something other than your self. Another way the pendulum works is by utilizing your subconscious mind to pick up information from other sources, moving the pendulum in very much the same way as mentioned before. Someone already said that it was safer because it's just a telegraph basically, while a Ouija board is like... I don't know,a Tardis or something. Not sure what to compare it to. If you use a Ouija board and a spirit becomes attached to something... Well it's possible and you say you know protection and banishing. Protection, cleansing, purification, and I've heard even blessing, everything and the area before hand is a must for something like this. I think it's a good idea to do it after as well. And I don't know about you being targeted, but that's what I have.

I see now. Well now that I think about it, I'll probably be the least targeted.
If I were a negative spirit, I would go after the one that does not know how to defend. Or maybe even go after the weakest one? Then again, don't they always go after the strongest ones? Hmmm....who knows.

I had to create an account, just so I could tell you how wrong you are on believing Zaza is not real. Haha
I am here to tell you he is.
I have encountered him a few times, and unless you are looking for negative, I would not even open doors you will have a hard time closing later.

And would like to also like to say hi to everyone, this is my first post.
