No it's not possible to control the elements. That is pure Hollywood fantasy. There is elemental magick. It's when you call the elements to help you in your craft. But we as humans can't control elements. It's beyond our power. The elements are stronger than us. There are a few ways to call the elements. The first one is casting a circle. The second is invocating the elements. The third is calling the earth herself, this depends if you believe the earth is a deity. In Norse I think Jord was the earth. I'm Greek Gaia or Gaea in different spellings, was the earth. There's one that makes the earth unique. In Egyption mythology the earth was a male. He was called geb. Like I said it depends on your beliefs. Hope this helps.
