Meditating problem or not

So I have a problem that some times when I get relaxed after so long I start having weird flashes of images and noises and when I start to focus on them I forget the majority of them. For example, today it happened and all I remember is being in a trench like area I think I heard gunshots and someone yell get down before their was a loud bang and a flash, which I'm guessing was an explosion. So was this just my ADHD acting up and creating a story because it's bored or was it something else?

It could have been either, although if what you are experiencing is a deeper state of mind, or trace, then you could just be seeing signs in your Subconscious as you travel deeper into altered states of consciousness. I would suggest looking into grounding before you meditate next time, it helps with focus. There are many forums on the subject and try as many techniques as you want until you find a method that's right for you. Just keep in mind that everyone is different and you might just have to give it a little time. You could also consider looking into aligning your Chakras and opening or enhancing them to balance your energy. Spend a minimum of five to ten minutes a day practicing meditation, and it also helps if you keep a log (some kind of notebook, can be electronic) and a writing instrument near you to record your experiences in as much detail as you can. Even if it doesn't make sense at the moment, still write it down. You can come back to it and whatever you may have seen will make more sense, like a dream journal. You can apply other way of a relaxation, it is simple to observe someone or something
