No Subject

I'm not to to new to this. I know very little but I know a few warding spells. But growing up my family looks down on all magic. And I was never allowed to practice, But I would see things and I would dream of things that came true. I need to know more about what I am. I sense um things that others can't see. Like spirits. And I want to know more about the type of caster I am. So if you know anything to help me that would be great.

Bah, it's all labels. Depending on who I'm talking to, I'm either a witch, a psion, or a "schizoaffective synaesthete".

That's why (reserve your right to your own opinion, of course) I would advise that you, yes, know more about who you are rather than what you are...become comfortable with that...and then a name for it will come.

You are yourself. What are you going to do with that is, I think, the better question. Keep a dream diary? Draw the spirits that you see and submit it to http://sharedspirits.tumblr.com/ ?

If you're lazy and/or you just need to start somewhere , then you can look up your star sign and the element connected to that (earth, fire, air, water) but there isn't always a cosmic pre-assigned path for you--at least, not one that makes the sense you always want it to make--so, the one that you practice most defines the "type" of caster that you are/willbe.
