the line between white and black may at times appear very grey. Don't categorize what you are doing squarely into white or black because you will find yourself in grey areas many times. Do what feels right in your heart based on each individual task you undertake.
Magick has no colour, only intent. If you wish to specialize in healing you can, if you wish to specialize in curses you can as well, and if you want to do both that's fine. You need to decide for yourself what you feel is morally right and wrong then choose what you should or shouldn't do with magick. For myself I do healing, and wealth spells for myself, and love spells for my friends [its all anyone ever wants] I don't curse people, but I feel there are situations where its fine. If someone attacks me first, I feel its fine to send the energy back with an extra 'back off' push. Others would see love, curses and ever wealth spells as things you should not do. It depends how you view it really.
As said magick has no color in the sense that in itself it is neither white nor black all intent. You could use a curse for good or for bad. If you curse someone that hurts others it can be considered good just as if you curse a good person it can be bad. You don't have to specialize in anything learn to do what benefits things you want. If your a good person use it for good if your bad use it for bad it is what you need it to be.

I find that the truth is something you have to discover for yourself, often times. Belief systems can help guide you there, but there might be just a sprinkle of 'truth' in each system. If you pick one you might not ever get to see the other sprinkles, so sorting through it and trying to make sense of it all can help you to get closer to really understanding things, I think, as long as you can find a proper center. In some ways you have to trust your feelings, which honestly can be dangerous.. but it can be enlightening as well. Many things in life are like that - what is good often comes with what is bad, you have to learn to separate them to find your path.
