Need protection spell???

I'm look for an novice level protection spell for myself when performing dark spells and rituals would appreciate any help I can get

This is not a spell, but it does protect from negative energy.
First cast a circle, this is optional.
Now imagine white and gold energy surrounding your body in the shape of an egg.
You can also imagine mirrors all around you reflecting off negative energy.
I also suggest grounding and centering. -Tara
