Kalresha, your knowledge of power animals is great. The things Kal has said are true, I couldn't have said it better myself. Oh, the dog as a totem, however, is not likely. A wolf would most likely be it rather than a dog.
Power animals are rarely domesticated animals. There is an exception though. Usually a dog or cat totem would come to someone who is not ready for the true forms of the totem. A cat could be a prelude to a lion, tiger, panther, or other feline. A dog totem could be a condensed version of a wolf, coyote, or other canine.
Usually these toned down versions of totems stay with you until you are ready for the true form of the animal.
yeah i kinda have a connection too and its not just bcuz u said something about it , but one time i went to the zoo and the black panther was in its glass cage and i was sittin next to the glass and it just went back and forth rite infront of me, also some ppl have seen a large black cat in some of my photos behind me , (panther), um my dad had a panther tatoo on his arm, also every time i see a photo of a panther i get short of breath and get major energy rushes through my body.

Lol Alchemy that happens to me with wolves. I never thought it had anything to do with this. But idk cause I'm good with animals so idk. A lot of animals just come to me either way. Lolz I'm not alone. haha. -Catty
