Potato is quite correct. Recently, scientists in the Netherlands teleported a tiny amount of Matter,a proton, a distance of one metre.The experiment cost a fantastic amount of money, but it did work!
However, to teleport a human, though sound in theory, is so far off that nobody alive today will ever see it; let alone experience it!

It is impossible. We are talking about magickal arts and not about Fluff. You seem uneducated at magickal arts. There's so many people saying that it is impossible. Just a common sense! Ask yourself this " If it is possible, then we all have used it instead of transportation or cars."

No, no, it was a photon, the smallest unit of light (radiation energy). The photon was created and destroyed pretty much, but it teleported 3 feet nonetheless. If it was a proton, now that means we CAN teleport matter, an altogether impossible feat.

Hypothetically, the most probable means of creating a wormhole is exerting extreme centrifugal force on an astronomical amount of densely-packed dark matter. Have fun.
