Like a few have said before your Zodiac does not define what your element is, it is what you have experimented with and work well with. Another thing, you do not 'control' an element you work with it.

I agree with Kinari, for the most part.

Psionics allows one to control or even create and control a (normally small) portion of an element. Not all of on the face of the Earth, but a portion of it can be controlled.

guys, elements that you can control doesnt come from your astrological sign always.
the best way is find which element suits best according to your character.
for example i am imaginative thinker, a day dreamer and emotional one.
and these are the characteristics of water and so i can control water.
that is how it is done

THANK YOU, that is exactly what I was thinking. Guessing about which element you have an affinity towards by comparing your Astrological Sun Sign is severely oversimplifying. First, there's a lot more to Astrology than sun signs, and second, elements are a lot more complext than just being in a category!

Personally, I have an affinity to certain aspects of Earth, but I have a black thumb and have killed every plant I've ever owned.

If you're interested in working with elements, the first thing you need to learn to understand is just how interconnected they are.

Alright, I agree with Kinari and Snow, and whomever else has said that your element(s) are not based on your astrological signs. Also, you should work will all the elements rather than with just a few. All the elements exist in you, therefore, you should work with all of them. :P
